Ruffles? Check. High heels? Check. Bicycle? Hell yeah!
Anyone who knows Trisha would expect no less than for her to arrive at her birthday bash on Peugeot, looking perfectly chic and elegant. In the midst of the torrential downpours and flooding in Nashville this weekend, the sky cleared long enough to make this moment possible.
Girl can ride in heels like nobody’s business, and she is fast. No one should try to tell her that it’s silly or impractical to ride while dressed up. Nothing could be more simple, stylish and fun – plus, it’s much easier than walking in those heels!
Thankyou for your comment! I’m so glad to find your blog, it is now on my daily reads to remind myself to save money for a bike, and to get ideas for riding outfits!
Yeah I bet a bit of practice will make perfect. I would definitely need a lot more practice before I can ride in heels but it looks gorgeous!!!
Haha yes I suppose the weather in Australia makes us much more prone to sweating than the ladies in Denmark!
Wow, these are awesome !!!!!!
That black and white picture with you looking back over your shoulder officially replaces the “in Russia with sunglasses and graffiti” shot as my favourite Trisha picture. Looking beautiful!
Thanks, LB! And Jasmine, let us know how it goes when you give riding in heels a try. :)
Biking in heels has officially been added to my to-do list!
Beautiful! Happy Birthday Trisha!
Impressive!
Happy belated birthday Trisha, you glamourous thing, you!
Fine to find an old Peugeot with a nice and pretty girl! But, it maybe would have been more glamourous and charming with real stockings (nasty boy minute…), no?
Enjoy it anyway; it suits perfectly to you!
I only wish we’d gotten a longer ride in together! Taking to account what happened to other people here over the weekend, though, that is a minor complaint.
For all you riding-in-heels newbies, I do recommend shoes with rubber soles like my J. Simps. :)
Trisha you look stunning!
Heels + bike = ♥ (a daily staple that every woman should try!)
BUT!!!!
Heels + bike + ruffles = ♥♥♥♥ (translate to: SUPER LOVE!)
:D L xxx
Trisha, I suspect we are around the same size. It’s really too bad we don’t live in the same city.
The combination of our wardrobes would be magnificent.
I’m not sure any one city could handle it, so maybe that’s for the best! :) Thanks Miss S.
I know, I have a weakness for ruffles too. :) Thanks, Lorenza.
Stunning! The ruffles absolutely make it!
I want it to be my birthday so badly now so I can roll around town in a fluffy fancy dress!
Xx,
è
Why wait?
Trisha, you are a gem! How fab do you and Le Peug look?! Now that is a birthday girl.
Merci Kara!
*Riotous applause*
Simply gorgeous. Thanks for showing us how it’s done!
Why oh why do I not see girls like you riding their bikes here in Wales? It’s a crying shame. Great to see you out enjoying yourself, I keep looking out for that posse of admirers that must be chasing you.
Happy belated birthday Trisha! You look fabulous as always.
LOVE IT! Charming, elegant but a bad ass too! Happy belated birthday! :)
That’s a fantastic dress! It seems both pretty and a bit playful, which is always nice :)
I’ve always imagined that riding in heels would be easier than walking in them, though I have to admit I’ve never done either – and as my feet are about twice the size of my wife’s, I probably never will :)
Glad you managed to stay safe, and had a nice weekend together! Cheers!
LOL, your wife is probably happy about that, Dave. :) Thanks for the well-wishes!
:D I’d be happy to try it, just to say I’ve done it. Doesn’t mean I intend to wear heels on a regular basis :D
A+ for heels on the bike.
very very cool pics. Nice dress! Happy birthday!
Thanks Vee & Scott! Dottie always takes the best photos of me.
The worst part of cycling in heels is when you have to park and walk in them. :)
Fun, fun, fun! And a BIG happy, happy birthday. Cheers to a great year.
Love it! You look so chic! You definitely need to enter Momentum mag’s Bike Style contest – one of these photos with a caption of why you make cycling look so good – because you do. :-)
Thank you and Dottie for helping more people realize how easy, fun, practical, green, chic it is to ride a bike.
GORGEOUS!!!
Oh man, what GREAT pictures! Happy, Happy Birthday kiddo!
What a fun post! I’ve never tried riding my bike in heels…I’ll have to give it a go. lol.
Thanks so much for your comments on my blog, Dottie. They mean alot. :)
omg, this inspires me to ride all fancy and fun! what an adorable post girl!
I loooove these photos, Trisha looks stunning! That outfit (the dress!) is awesome and to wear it proudly while biking is just the icing on the cake. Trisha, you rock! S.
Thanks S & Beany!

I am told that Japanese girls have this kind of riding down to an art. During a trip to Japan several years ago, a friend noticed many girls riding in mini skirts and high heels while simultaneously holding an umbrella and talking on the cell phone. No idea how they manage this, but there’s your next challenge :-)
Hm. Umbrella, maybe, but cell phone, probably not! Seems like a safety issue. :)
I’ve got to see this.Heels ,mimi skirt and umbrella. I might have to try this
I love your style.
